We provide customized laser engraved labels for your mineral and gem specimens

Our products are curated with collectors as well as specimen dealers in mind. The focus is on improving both the aesthetics of mineral specimen displays, and the ease with which information is conveyed to those viewing the specimens. Products are chosen with the idea that they should be of the highest quality for the end collector, allow dealers to easily mark prices with erasable markers, and be capable of being engraved with QR codes to provide links to further information about the specimen.

Our Story

LapLabels was born out of a collector’s frustration with the status quo in mineral specimen labels. The hobby of collecting mineral specimens has evolved to be akin to the collection of fine works of art, and yet we have seen no advances in the labels and signage to accompany nature’s art.

Our goal is to elevate the quality of displays for both dealers and collectors with museum quality labels, as well as to innovate by making detailed information and video documentaries about specimens available to viewers through QR codes.

The most important thing to me is the collector’s satisfaction with the products when incorporated into their displays. The labels and signage should enhance, rather than distract from, the beauty of their collection.
